        Hello all,

Our employed pharmacist wants to start billing for her Anticoag/Coumadin Clinic. She will be billing incident-to a provider. Since she is employed with our facility, is there a need to get her credentialed with the facility itself, correct? I know I wouldn’t have to for the payers for sure but she thought she would still have to be with the facility and that’s where it was my understanding if the ancillary staff such as Pharmacist, Respiratory Therapists, RN’s, etc. who were employed that were performing services incident-to a physician would not be credentialed. Can someone please confirm or deny this for me? Or tell me what other facilities do for their pharmacists?

        Thanks!
